In terms of practical work I think we all achieved an E5 last half. Things have got to improve next term or you are going to have to reconsider the idea of a Music Video.

On the other hand, we have made some good headway with the theoretical side of things. Remember, the essay you are writing must be clear, well-evidenced and heavily theoretical if it is to meet the requirements of A2. You are fairly well-prepared: the only thing I would have done differently is spend a bit more time on the ASA website. There's tons of stuff you haven't explored. Hint.

Well done for last half-term's work. Try to be a bit more self-motivated next half-term. A levels cannot be spoonfed to you: you must take the initiative, seize the day and all that stuff.

Enjoy the break from routine, but don't squander the opportunity to catch-up.

So much to do...

Soon you are going to try two practical projects in addition to filming, uploading, editing and synchronising a soundtrack. It is therefore CRUCIAL that you spend some time doing this practical work in your own time.

Likewise, I'd like to keep tabs on your progress and suggest that you create your blog as soon as possible!

Today we managed to talk a great deal about music video again! Hopefully some of this stuff is beginning to permeate your consciousness and you're becoming increasingly aware of what music video coursework and research is going to entail.

I would like to advise you strongly that all the work we have done so far should be entered on your blog. Please invite me to join your blog. Please also take note of this blog where you will find lots of instructions about the projects and exercises you should be working on.

Although this seems to be plenty of time before next Easter when your work will be submitted, they're actually isn't that much time and you need to get going as soon as possible.

Each of you have said that you have ideas. That's great. You must start logging your ideas on a blog. Start now! It's important.
